  • David Mond
    Managing Director - B.Ec., FCPA (Tax) F.T.I.A

    A founder of Recoveries Corporation and its former Chairman, David was appointed Managing Director of Recoveries Corporation Group Limited in 2007. A member of the company’s Audit and Risk committee and Chairman of the Remuneration committee, David is passionate about driving the growth of Group businesses and continually enhancing client services and the use of technology.

    He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree, is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA), specialising in Taxation, a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served on CPA Australia committees.

  • Leon Sholl
    Solicitor Director - LLB

    A founder of Mason Black Lawyers and Recoveries Corp, Leon is Solicitor Director of Mason Black Lawyers in Sydney and Melbourne, and is responsible for the company’s business development. He has practised as a litigation lawyer for 37 years in all jurisdictions, predominantly in insurance and commercial law.

    His strong legal skills are particularly valued in the compliance area.

  • Nicholas Harrak
    Head of Government and Commercial - LBLS

    Nick holds a Bachelor of Legal Studies and a post-graduate Advanced Diploma in Business/Legal Practice. He joined Recoveries Corp in January 2000 and is an excellent example of our policy of promoting from within. Possessing a results-oriented philosophy and a hunger for innovation, Nick has encouraged a continuous improvement within our operations and client relationship teams.

    Nick’s operations background teamed with his client relationship skills makes him well rounded across all facets of the business. Nick is an innovator and motivator to staff and clients alike.

    Nick's role is to lead the end to end Government and Commercial Business Unit with a focus on the continued improvement of service delivery, growth, profitability and people development.

  • Jonathan Agnew
    Head of Insurance - Executive Certificate of Business Management

    Jonathan is the most recent addition to the Recoveries Corp Executive Team. With more than 16 years experience in the Insurance industry, Jonathan possesses a broad understanding of operations and strategic management at all levels.

    Jonathan is an asset to the Recoveries Corp Executive team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the management of large teams, business critical projects, supplier relationships, budgeting and financial management as well as offering a broad knowledge and understanding of a large results focused corporate environment.

    Jonathan’s role at Recoveries Corp is to lead the end to end Insurance Recoveries Operations with a focus on the continued improvement of service delivery, growth, profitability and people development.

  • Ziggy Frankenfeld
    Head of Corporate Services - B.Comm, CA, Cert 4 TAA

    Ziggy has worked with recoveriescorp Management since January 2008, assisting with Business Strategy. Ziggy was employed in a part time role as recoveriescorp's Head of Corporate Services.

    Ziggy has spent more than 20 years in executive leadership roles in privately owned and listed corporations. He began his career in corporate finance after qualifying as a chartered accountant. Ziggy became finance director at one of South Africa’s largest IT companies, founded an IT infrastructure and systems business, and has since worked in a range of industry sectors including retail, franchising, consulting, distribution, law, accounting, architecture and manufacturing.

    Ziggy is responsible for the development and implementation of new strategies to ensure recoveriesrorp continues to achieve best practice and operate to its maximum capacity and is responsible for Group Finance, Human Resources, IT including Software Development and Business Support.

  • Brian Savage
    Business Development

    Having held senior management positions in large, high-volume collections, recoveries, lending, and marketing areas within several major institutions, Brian’s professional history is remarkable.

    As a Consultant with all the four major Australian banks, Brian developed and managed the implementation of large-scale strategies within operating environments, which resulted in improved efficiencies, superior quality, and high client satisfaction whilst generating profit.  In addition, Brian has consulted on major projects for government and leading financial organisations.  Within Recoveries Corp, Brian is responsible for business growth and overseeing client relationships.

  • Brett Turnbull
    Special Counsel/National Practice Manager (Mason Black Lawyers) -BCom LLB

    Brett oversees Mason Black Lawyers' national operation. He is responsible for all staff in the Sydney office, mentoring Senior Associates and supervising all complex legal matters.

    Brett leads Mason Black’s Insurance department, overseeing the small claims and general matters teams. Brett reviews all instructions, assesses the viability of a recovery or defence and works closely with the relevant team in achieving the best possible outcome.

    Brett initially worked for an insurer for a year before entering the profession in Johannesburg in 1995. After five years in a specialist insurance law firm he went into partnership in 2000 and acted nationally for most of the major short term insurance companies in South Africa, as well as a number of underwriting managers, insurance brokers and other risk carriers.

    He brought and defended legal proceedings and provided legal advice in various classes of risk including personal lines, commercial lines, householders, house owners, industrial special risks, public liability and professional indemnity.

    Brett also consulted to insurers, provided advice on policy wording, indemnity and breach of policy, and was involved in a number of groundbreaking decisions in South Africa. Since arriving in Australia, Brett has been instrumental in the formulation of legal strategies for a growing number of Australian insurers.
